Yes, it is that time of the year again. It is time when I have to slather sunscreen all over my daughters every time we step outside the house. I usually like to keep one in my purse so I can reapply when we are out. My oldest daughter has fairer skin so she gets burns so easily. Vichy sunscreens are one of my favourite brand to use.
Here are a few Vichy sunscreen that I will be using this summer:
If anyone hates to rub on sunscreen, then you have to try this. I love using Vichy The Ideal Soleil Invisible Mist SPF 50 because I just spray it on and go. It absorbs super fast. A quick rub and I am not wasting time trying to rub it into my skin. It does not feel like I am wearing any sunscreen and leaving my skin a dry finish touch, not greasy at all. I also got my girl friend hooked. She also love using the Invisible Mist.
The Capital Soleil Ultra Protection sunscreen stick ($21) is a must have to keep in my purse. I want to leave some sunscreen in my purse but sometimes I am afraid it might leak all over in my bag. This sunscreen stick is just like a fat lip stick. Easy to apply on the go. Also because it is a stick it made it much easier to rub sunscreen on my daughter's face. She hates me putting on sunscreen because she is afraid I will get it into her eyes. With this protection stick I have better control of the sunscreen as I rub into her face. It is non sticky, non greasy, absorbs quickly, and it has no scent. My girls didn't mind me using this sunscreen on their face at all.
In the past I hated to put sunscreen on my face. I hated the greasy feeling and how uncomfortable it sits on my face. Sunscreen for the face has changed so much and I have love using the Vichy's Capital Soleil Ultra Fluid lotion SPF 30 ($25.95). This was the first sunscreen that had changed my mind about putting on my face. It is light and absorbs fast. It is very liquidity so it is perfect for the face. There is no greasy feel and I could use it underneath my makeup. I also enjoy putting this on my daughters before we head out.
Both my kids will be going to camp this summer and I will need to pack a sunscreen so they can leave it at the camp. I have tried the Ideal Soleil SPF 50 Mexoryl XL for children ($29.95) on both my kids. It has no odor, and does not leave any residue or greasiness. My youngest has sensitive skin so I was so glad her skin didn't react to it. It is a little thicker than the ultra fluid sun protection. It takes a bit of work to rub it into the skin.
Vichy would love to give one of my readers to win Capital Soleil Ultra Protection facial sunscreen stick and the Vichy's Capital Soleil Ultra Fluid lotion SPF 30.
