The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate ~ #Review

I am a night owl. I work all day and go straight home to take care of the kids. The only time I could blog is in the evening when the kids are down for the night. So there have been many occasions where there has been a few late nights so I could catch up on things or if I am reading a really good book that I can’t put down. It is not surprising that I have a hard time getting up in the morning and my eyes are puffy and red. I just love to put on The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate to help me start my day.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate

I am never a morning person. I remember when I was in high school I used to sleep until noon. I can’t do that anymore but those were fond memories where I don’t have to rush each morning so I could cart the kids off to the daycare/babysitters or activities at my local Parks and Rec Center.

I enjoy putting The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate around my eyes. I love the metal roller. I believe all eye cream/serum should have a metal ball roller applicator. It feels wonderful in the morning. It has the same sensation as putting a cold drink on my face on a hot humid day.

It is recommended to apply this before my eye cream but I think this serum is good enough that I don’t need eye cream. Gently press the pump and apply the roller in a figure “8” circular motion around the eyes. Then pat it down gently to let it fully absorb. I could roll the serum around my eyes all day but after awhile it warms up so it is disappointing I had to put it down and continue with my morning routine. It is a great temporary pick me until I have my morning tea. The Body Shop not only provided me Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate to help me wake up in the morning but provided me a small amount (C$4.55) so I could just get a small Vanilla Bean Latte from Starbucks. The combination of both the eye serum and latte is a perfect way to start my day.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate is available online and in-store (10ml, $30)
