Vaseline Lip Therapy Tins ~ #Review

All year long I use some form of lip protection.  My lips get so dry and it gets even painful if I don't apply something.  I have even seen it splits, cracks and bleed.  I use to apply Vaseline to my lips all the time.  I would put a thick layer to make it last all night long.  The next morning my lips would be hydrated.  This Vaseline comes in a tin so I could use it all the time.  Vaseline Lip Therapy Tins (17g, $3.49-$4.99) comes in four different types - original,  aloe, rosy, and coco butter.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Tins ~ #Review

I tried the Original Vaseline Lip Therapy Tin.  It is made of 3 ingredients - petrolatum, shea butter, and tocopheryl acetate.  It has the same texture as the original Vaseline in a tub.  I think there is barely any shea butter in it.  There is no scent and it keeps my lips hydrated all the time.  The tin make it so easy for putting it in my purse or take it with me on my travels.

A U.K. must-have, Vaseline lip theraphy is now available to Canadians, in an iconic and covetable tin. The new and improved formula is clinically proven to help heal dry lips and provide long lasting moisturization. Containing the dry skin healing power of petroleum jelly, these non-sticky lip treatments are invitingly soft and melt on to lips to lock in moisture for a sensationally smooth and supple feel.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

  • Clinically proven to help heal dry lips

  • Non-sticky, non-greasy formula spreads on smoothly
  • Give lips a natural, glossy shine

  3. I'm always surprised to see that Vaseline is still used as it is made for Petroleum Jelly aka petrolatum which has been shown repeatedly to be a carcinogen.

  6. Since it contains petroleum jelly I am surprised that this is still on the shelves. I used to use it a lot but not any more.
