Hallmark 7 Card Challenge ~ #Giveaway

Growing up I would love to send cards and letters.  Over time I became so busy I tend to forget to write.  I have a few people I love to send cards out to, at least a few times a year to keep touch since I can't reach them by email or text.  There is something about receiving a letter in the mail which makes it so much more special than just getting an regular old email.  I get a happy feeling when I receive a birthday card or a Christmas card.  It is rare that I would receive a "Just Because" card.  Hallmark has so many beautiful cards in their store for all occasions.

Shout Factory! The Seventh Dwarf ~ #Review & #Giveaway

This movie is a mash up of the fairy tale you would remember listening/watching to when you were younger.  It starts with Rose from Sleeping Beauty, and how she is worried that she would fall asleep from pricking her finger.  To look for help, she sent Jack (I am guessing from Jack and the Beanstalk) for help by looking for the 7 Dwarves.  It is an enjoyable movie that I and my family loved. In this movie, you will also see Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, Snow White, and Cinderella.  Of course, to save Rose, she needs to be kissed by her true love, Jack.  Jack and the help with the 7 Dwarves goes and save Princess Rose.  Of course you have to be careful when hanging around the 7th Dwarf because bad things so watch your step.  Remember that this is a Fairy Tale so there is always a happy ending.

This summer just flew by and there is about less than 3 weeks left before school starts.  Once school starts I will be super busy adjusting to their new schedule and getting a routine down so that everything goes smoothly.

A new school year means I have purchased new clothing and school supplies where I had to label everything again.  I can't believe how important it is to label kids clothing.  There has been many times I accidentally brought home a piece of clothing that didn't belong to my daughter.  Of course it is not labeled so I have no idea who it belonged to.  Labeling helps reduce lost or missing items.   If you realize you don't have enough labels, don't sweat it.  You have time to order Lovable Labels Back to School Packs as they are available until September 30, 2015.

It has been a while since I wrote a review on products I bought for myself.  I have been wanting to try some Asian products that have been hitting the Canadian Market.  I'm lucky to live in a city that has some Asian beauty stores.  You can blame it on my co-worker since she started my search for the perfect Asian product for my skin.

This Summer you Have to Try ~ #Review

It is the middle of August and it is a hot one.  It is a great day for me to wear some shorts and tank tops.  So it is a great time to use some Nair products to help me to remove those unwanted hairs.  Nair Argan Oil Shower Power is so easy to use.  Apply a thick layer and wait.  Then after awhile I would rinse it off when I step into the shower and the hair would fall right off.  It is best to use with the sponge to help remove the hair that likes to stick to your skin.  I do notice that it does not remove some of those shorter hairs and I am not a big fan of the scent.  Not to worry, the scent will go away after you shower.

Dr. Scholl’s Express Pedi Foot Smoother ~ #Review

During the summer, I wear sandals all the time.  I hate the feeling of dry and cracked heels especially. I don't like anyone looking at them.  I have seen people with dry heels and it is not a pretty sight.  I try to moisturize my feet but sometimes it is not enough.  I have used foot pumice stone before and they do not work.  Maybe I don't know how to use them.   However, I can say that Dr. Scholl’s Express Pedi Foot Smoother works for me.

Testing Jergens Products ~ #Review & #Giveaway

You all know how much of a fan I am of moisturizers. I always have one with me.  I have used Jergens over the years but it was recently they have had products that really captured my eyes.  First you know how much I love Jergens Shea Beauty Oil.  I think they are great to use after a shower and even after a shave.

I can personally say the one thing I hate is eczema.  I don't personally have it but my poor youngest daughter does.  Her skin was normal until she turned 3 and she has been battling eczema every since.  It has been over a year of us struggling trying to contain her eczema from flaring up.  The poor girl would scratch herself silly leaving her skin red, raw, and dry, almost to the point it would be almost bleeding.  Doctors would mostly prescribe hydro-cortisone cream but I would advise to use it sparely.  It is a drug so there are side effects.  After prolonged use it would lose its effectiveness, skin thinning/discoloration, or stretch marks may also occur. and sometimes Acne, and unusual hair growth.
